As a methodology, it draws upon multiple disciplines (mathematics, statistics, computer science, and information systems) to improve business performance across all industries. The Analytics Career Community will expose students to how businesses use analytics (and analytical tools) to understand consumer behavior, to predict performance, and to manage risk and explore functional roles for undergraduates such as web analyst, risk analyst, market research analyst, data analyst, pricing analyst, and actuary, among many others.
SAGAA (the Sexuality and Gender Alliance of Actuaries) in partnership with The Actuarial Foundation (TAF), offers annual scholarships to queer actuarial students. The application is live as of today, Monday, April 6th and is open until Friday May 29th. Apply at this application link.
In addition to the scholarship, SAGAA also produces a resume booklet that is shared with their sponsoring employers. These employers have expressed strong interest in interviewing scholarship applicants in early September.

There are no actuarial exam requirements to join. All students affiliated with universities represented by Actuarial Educators faculty are welcome!
