Analytics is the discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data to improve decision making. As a methodology, it draws upon multiple disciplines (mathematics, statistics, computer science, and information systems) to improve business performance across all industries. The Analytics Career Community will expose students to how businesses use analytics (and analytical tools) to understand consumer behavior, to predict performance, and to manage risk and explore functional roles for undergraduates such as web analyst, risk analyst, market research analyst, data analyst, pricing analyst, and actuary, among many others.
When it comes to your resume, the challenge is to accurately reflect your skills and accomplishments, without overexaggerating. Certain buzzwords can sometimes feel vague, overused, or cliché. Check out these alternatives to clearly portray your skills and experience in an engaging and exciting way.
Travelers will award two (2) Bentley students a $1,000 scholarship if you are majoring in or planning to major in Finance, Corporate Finance and Accounting, or Economics-Finance.
Travelers will also award three (3) Bentley students a $1,000 scholarship if you are majoring in or planning to major in Actuarial Science.
If you are selected, you will be invited to attend a brief meeting in Spring 2023 to receive your award and learn more about career opportunities at Travelers.
