As a member of the Sustainability Career Community, you will meet professionals working in different areas of sustainability businesses and how they use their sustainability knowledge to help businesses with their triple bottom line. This Career Community will introduce you to professionals who will cover “green” topics such as: renewable energy, waste management, clean tech, marketing sustainability products, and building community sustainability educational programs.
Have you thought about working with faculty outside the classroom? Have you thought about conducting research? Would you like to have an inside track on the latest trends your faculty are researching? Have you thought about getting paid to learn? The Delongchamp Family Endowed Fund supports undergraduates wishing to explore professional and co-curricular opportunities focused on sustainability and the triple-bottom line: people, planet, and profit. This resource provides students with the means to expand their professional network and gain insight on current business initiatives in sustainability. These opportunities include:
Attending a conference,
Going to a networking event,
Taking an unpaid or a limited paid internship,
Pursuing a research project, or
Creating a public awareness campaign around sustainability.
