OLA Academy (OLAA) is a web-based, self-paced program that is designed to help Latine actuarial prospects gain the skills and confidence needed to land an actuarial position. Participants will have access to videos on topics such as resume writing, interviewing, networking, and designing an effective LinkedIn profile. Participants can also be matched up with volunteers (actuaries and/or recruiters) to put these new skills into practice through resume reviews, mock interviews, and mentorship. OLAA participants who complete certain requirements by specified deadlines are eligible to participate in OLA’s virtual career fairs and apply to OLA’s Travel Sponsorship programs.

OLA’s 2023 Travel Sponsorship programs fully cover travel and lodging for Latine actuarial prospects to attend in-person industry conferences and career fairs where they can network with fellow prospects, professionals, recruiters, and more!
