What is this Creative Engagement Career Community?

Career communities are a new program through Bentley Career Services. Moving forward, our events, emails, and featured jobs and internships will all fall under the umbrella of one or more career community. The reason for this is to expand your opportunities for career exploration. You might be a CFA interested in market research or a marketing major realizing user experience is really more up your alley. Employers aren’t concerned with the exact major that matches their open role, so why should we be? Now you aren’t limited to those jobs that “fit” your major – and you don’t have to choose just one professional interest.

What does this mean for you?

All of the resources you know and love are still available just like they were before. That being said, you will now access them through their specific pages on CareerEdge. In an effort to be sensitive about the number of emails you receive, you will no longer receive emails from me beginning 9/15 unless you sign up through CareerEdge for alerts on the Creative Engagement career community.

What is the Creative Engagement career community?

If you are interested in roles related to marketing, communications, user experience, media, and creative industries, the Creative Engagement career community is the place for you. All messaging that was previously “MICCM” will now be coming through this community. We already have upcoming programs, site visits, and networking nights planned, so please check out the Creative Engagement page (and don’t forget to register for alerts)! As a reminder, you can sign up for as many of the career communities as you want, so take a peek at the other great offerings through all 13 career communities:
