The next stop on our Success in the City trip was MarketingEdge. MarketingEdge is a student focused educational company that helps to support students in the marketing industry. Terri Bartlett, the president of Marketing Edge, welcomed our group and encouraged the students to take advantage of the many programs MarketingEdge offers. After the president completed her warm welcome, other members of the leadership team, the Vice President of Program Development, and the Program Manager described their career-related services. MarketingEdge offers several career forums for students to engage with professionals and learn more about all the functional areas involved in marketing.
MarketingEdge also offers scholarships and business competitions! Some more programs offered include:
- Collegiate Echo Marketing Challenge
- I-MIX: a weeklong interactive marketing boot camp for students and taught by practitioners.
- I-MAX: a weeklong program introducing students to the analytics side of marketing.
MarketingEdge also offers great resources for companies: MarketingEdge Jobs, a free, one-stop resource for employers looking for entry-level talent.
