What can I do with an Accounting degree?

Are you pursuing a degree in Accounting?  Do you know what you want to do with your degree?  Public accounting?  CPA track?  Know you don’t want to pursue a CPA or get your 150 credit hours right now?  There are so many different paths you can take!  I have done two panels this year, bringing back alumni, to tell you what it means to be an auditor, internal auditor, tax specialist, consultant, special agent, and more!  If you find yourself interested in learning more about what you can do with your degree, you should visit the Virtual Career Center (VCC) in BentleyLink.  Both of these panels (plus many more programs!) were filmed and are viewable in the VCC at your convenience.  Simply click on the “view VCC” link located on the right hand tool bar, select “Video” from the drop down list for “Type” and select a program you would like to watch.  The panels referred to above are entitled “Accounting Alternatives” and “What can I do with an Accounting Degree?”.  I hope you find these helpful as you continue to explore your career options.
