The Business Strategy & Operations Intern will work within the Commercial Management team and will display the analytical, technical, and business acumen needed to evaluate and improve on existing planning practices and processes within Go-To-Market and Commercial departments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market intelligence and provide insights to the business team, leveraging data, research, and expertise from internal and external sources.
- Navigate tools, systems, databases, and spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis.
- Identify inefficiencies/bottlenecks in current sales and business operations processes, propose solutions, and drive implementation.
- Assist the go-to-market team with analyzing and understanding the U.S. infrastructure landscape and forecast outlook by location and construction type.
- Work with Marketing team to bolster our analysis of other dispatch management software companies competing with Trux’s flagship products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Marketing, Business Operations, Service Delivery, etc…) to drive projects.
- Research and keep abreast of various regulations and legal policies regionally and assist teams in compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, Management or related fields.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2024.
- Strong academic background, demonstrable analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Fast learner, highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
- You’re scrappy and have a “get it done” mentality.
- You have incredible attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint.
Pay:
$18-$22 per hour
