The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in athletics, and must be passionate about marketing, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Marketing to assist in the planning, implementation, and optimization of strategies to drive leads to our Sales team and generate heightened brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Execute Marketing Strategies: Assist in the promotion of Rocket’s touchscreen Hall of Fame, including email marketing, social media, and more
- Become a Subject Matter Expert: Become an authority on our product and our core customers: high school and college athletic administrators
- Lead Generation Efforts: Own frequent outreach campaigns through Hubspot (our CRM platform) and Smartlead.ai (our cold email outreach tool) and manage our database of sales leads
- Create Compelling Marketing Materials: Collaborate with other departments on blog posts, social content, newsletters, promotional materials, and more
- Represent the company: Serve as a point of contact for our strategic partnerships
- Trade Show Strategy: Manage and coordinate Rocket’s national, year-round schedule of trade shows and conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Recent and/or upcoming college grads encouraged to apply!
- Some internship experience OR experience in a full-time marketing position
- A background in athletics and a passion for sports marketing preferred
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Ability to learn and become proficient in new processes/workflows rapidly
- Effective, confident, and comfortable communicator
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to travel 3-4 times per year. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
