ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Development and Strategy Associate serves as a key role in LifeStance Health’s enterprise strategy team and is accountable for the sourcing, development, and execution of integrated care partnerships with health systems, multi-site primary care groups, and other potential partners across the country. This position requires a balance of sales skills, data analytics, entrepreneurial spirit, and concise communications. The Associate is hands on, working directly with our integrated care and corporate teams to deliver a smooth experience to our clinicians, primary care partners, and patients.
The position will report directly to the Vice President, Integrated Behavioral Health and Enterprise Strategy and work hand-in-hand with the integrated care team to build new, innovative partnerships. Our integrated care team seeks to promote and advance access to high quality behavioral healthcare in the primary care setting.
Compensation: $60,000 – $85,000
Location: Boston, MA – Seaport
Schedule: M-F, hybrid schedule with mix of work from home and in-office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Sourcing
Identify, qualify, contact, and engage new integrated care partnership leads, including health systems and primary care medical groups.
Identify and engage key decision-makers.
Build strategic relationships with senior level leaders of primary care and other specialty practice groups.
Perform analysis of key markets and/or segments.
Partnership Execution
Work with prospective partners and corporate teams to establish shared workflows.
Troubleshoot and triage potential issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
Work collaboratively in partnership with internal and external teams to contribute to process improvement and/or implement new tools/resources to enhance our partner and patient experience.
Financial and Data Analysis
Perform financial analysis of prospective partnerships and assist with contract negotiations.
Build budgets for new partnerships.
Support ad hoc analyses to support decision making and identify new business insights and opportunities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or similar field of study.
1+ year of experience with sales, business development, strategy, or other relevant experience.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable business insights.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and with a sense of humor.
Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent relationship building skills.
