Job Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist is a key member of the inside sales team functioning as the primary point of contact for three key customer groups. The Inside Sales Specialist will divide their time between managing relationships with distribution sales representatives, ZOLL Channel Partner Managers and the end user customers. This role entails high volume outbound calling activities, training and sales webinars and end user sales facilitation. The Inside Sales Specialist focuses on lead generation, lead qualification and in many cases offering the technical expertise needed to close a sale. This position primarily focuses on renewal business for Rescue Ready Services and CPR/AED/Training sales.
Essential Functions
- Identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product enquiries and outbound calling initiatives.
- Focus on customer retention and renewals
- Communicate and form relationships with current customers by performing account reviews and assisting with the up keep of their program
- Identify and develop key contacts within distribution and end user customer accounts
- Identify and assist with establishing new distribution partners
- Collaborate with client services to create a seamless holistic customer service environment
- Support distribution by generating and analyzing reports and data
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- BA/BS or comparable work experience preferred
- Prior Sales Training
- Inside Sales Training
- Minimum two years of inside sales, lead development or outbound call center experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic office computer skills required, proficiency in learning new software preferred
- High level of integrity and work ethic required
- Excellent communication, writing and phone skills required
- Time and task management skills required
- Energetic and competitive nature a major plus
- Prior experience with CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus
