Internship Opportunities
Hipstitch has a range of internship opportunities with a special focus on business / marketing, education, or fashion design.
We are also happy to work with applicants who are interested in a different focal area. If you are interested in a different focal area, please reach out and tell us what that area is, and how you think Hipstitch can facilitate your study in that area.
Each internship opportunity will have a focal area which corresponds with the interns educational goals. Differences between paid and unpaid internships with our organization:
Paid interns are considered employees and are paid an hourly wage for their contributions to the organization. Paid interns are expected to perform tasks similar to regular employees and will have specific responsibilities and deliverables. The primary focus is on gaining work experience and skills relevant to their field of study or career path, while also earning financial compensation for their efforts.
Unpaid interns focus on their education goals, engaging in tasks that align with their academic or learning objectives. The primary goal is to provide interns with valuable hands-on experience, exposure to their chosen field, and an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. While unpaid, these internships are designed to support the educational development and career exploration of the interns.
