Pintsorship – A New Tool For International Students!

For international students navigating the U.S. job market, one of the most frustrating parts of the process is figuring out which companies actually sponsor visas. A lot of time goes into tailoring resumes and submitting applications, only to realize later that the company does not sponsor. This makes the process inefficient and discouraging, especially in an already competitive environment.

A recent tool built by a Bentley alumn, called Pintsorship, aims to solve this problem in a straightforward way. Pintsorship is a free Chrome extension that works directly on LinkedIn job postings. As you browse jobs, it surfaces sponsorship information by cross-referencing H-1B disclosure data from the U.S. Department of Labor and scanning job descriptions. This allows users to make more informed decisions about where to apply, rather than relying on guesswork.

This tool will help international students focus their efforts on opportunities that align with their needs and avoid wasting time on applications that are unlikely to lead anywhere. Although the tool is still new, it has already started gaining traction and is completely free to use!

For students who are actively applying to internships or full-time roles, tools like Pintsorship can make the job search process more efficient and targeted.
