Bentley’s Second Social Entrepreneur Student Fellowship Cohort:

Apply to Be Part of the 2025-2026 Fellowship Program (October-April)

Through the Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center, Bentley has launched a new Social Innovation Incubatorto support in the creation of regional social enterprises!

The Incubator is located at 92 Felton St. in Waltham, just off of Moody Street.  We are excited to be offering an opportunity for a select group of Bentley students tojoin the second cohort of the prestigious Social Entrepreneur Student Fellowship.  This is a two-semester program, Fall 2025-Spring 2026 (October-April) and, as the first year-long cohort, you will also help us to define the Fellowship for future students.**

The Social Entrepreneur Student Fellowship Program is highly sought after and provides a select group of students the opportunity to:

  • Build your own entrepreneurial skills for the greater good!
  • Participate in world-class social enterprise business planning workshops!
  • Meet and learn from local and national leaders in the social enterprise realm, as well as social impact investors!
  • Connect with like-minded members of the Greater Waltham community to network and share ideas for social enterprises now and in the future!
  • Collaborate with the expert Bentley team, along with faculty and alumni experts, at the Social Innovation Incubator!
  • Provide input and guidance to Waltham area social entrepreneurs who are developing new social enterprises from idea to viable business plan!

The Bentley Social Innovation Incubator Student Fellowship Program Overview:

Fellows who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship, and will graduate into the Incubator’sFellowship Alumni Network (FAN), allowing them access to the Incubator’s network of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders, as well as to be invited to engage with and contribute to future Incubator initiatives and programming. 

Fellowship Certification Requirements

To apply, please email socialimpact@bentley.edu by midnight on Friday, October 10th, with the subject line “Fellowship Application.” The application is attached to this email and make sure to attach your completed application when you email it back to us at socialimpact@bentley.edu.  

**Please note that the Fellowship does offer the opportunity to enroll in a 1-Credit Internship course option.  If you are interested in this option, you would need first to meet with the program’s academic advisor to make sure that it is a good fit for you.  If interested, please indicate this in your email when you return your application to socialimpact@bentley.edu.
