Fall 2024 Bentley Non-Profit Internship Program!

The BSLCE is excited to announce that the application for the Fall 2024 Bentley Nonprofit Internship Program is now live! This 70-hour, ten-week internship runs in conjunction with a three-credit course (SO 421), and student interns will receive a stipend for their participation in the program. (See Flyer Below)

In the fall semester, we are pleased to offer up to fifteen internships with a variety of nonprofit and government partners. The internships are slated to be in person; however, there may be a limited number of hybrid internship opportunities. Through this program, you will be able to apply the academic skills you are gaining at Bentley in a local nonprofit or government agency, in turn improving your own civic and citizenship skills.

Here is a link to the application.

The application will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 11th.
*Please note that this program is awaiting a final funding approval.

Should you have any questions about the program or the application, please e-mail Nic OConnell in the Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center at OCONNEL_NICO@Bentley.edu

Here are a couple tips for the application:

  1. We would recommend that you answer the four free-response questions (on the final page) in a Word document before submitting. In the past, some students have been logged out while completing the final page, and they have lost their responses.
  2. If you are selected for the program, you will be required to attend the weekly class; however, you will not be registered for SO 421 until the fall semester. Do not look for this course when using add/drop—it will not be available.

We look forward to reading your applications, and we wish you all the best as you complete your finals!
