To all the rising media stars at Bentley, I encourage you to apply for the Mediahub (www.mediahubww.com) Rising Mentorship Program for the spring 2024 session. The program was designed to create access to the media industry for members of historically marginalized and/or under-represented groups (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, first generation students, etc.)
The program pairs each “mentee” with a current Mediahub employee. For this 12 week program the “mentees” are given the opportunity to learn about operation and roles in a media agency with weekly meetings and self-service training sessions. The program is flexible and can easily work with a students’ demanding schedule. The commitment is 1 – 2 hours per week plus a weekly meeting with a mentor. While this program is not an internship at Mediahub, the initial learning, PLUS networking would definitely help in landing an internship at Mediahub or elsewhere in the media world.
