Questions Recruiters Appreciate

One notable period of every job interview will be the recruiter asking, “Do you have any questions for me?” Most people usually nod and miss out on asking questions because they want to escape the stressful situation or have nothing to add. However, the best thing about being a potential employee is to ask unlimited questions about companies, employers, and the jobs you’re looking at. Not only do they show interest from your end, but recruiters love talking about their jobs and matching the enthusiasm of the person they are interviewing. But what questions are good questions? Though it will vary on a case basis, here are some excellent questions you can ask recruiters that they will appreciate!

“Can you elaborate more on the team I will be working with? How will I contribute to the team with this position?”

“What is an issue the company is facing, and how can I contribute to solutions as a potential new employee?”

“How will this position help me career development-wise?”

“Can you expand on the expectations for deadlines?”

“What would the day-to-day responsibilities look like for this position?”

“How does the company promote a good work-life balance?”

“Can you detail the kind of customers and tasks we receive?”

“How does feedback work for this position? What would measure my success in the role?”

Throughout the interview and different rounds, you might have already gotten some of these questions answered, so use these after careful analysis of your experience and knowledge of a company. Good Luck!
