CIS Sandbox: Topics in Tech Series

Guest Author: Professor Mark Frydenberg

“The Topics in Tech series is a great way to network with CIS alumni and learn more about careers in technology or current technology trends with a real-world perspective.”

The CIS Sandbox hosts a weekly series, Topics in Tech, featuring Bentley alumni and tech leaders talking about their careers as information technology professionals. Learn first-hand about a variety of high-tech careers, network with other students and IT professionals, and evaluate career paths that you may wish to pursue. Topics in Tech is now a BentleyPlus Certified program. Maximize your learning in competency areas you wish to develop: educational/awareness, identity awareness, resilience, critical thinking, leadership and dialogue.

The series continues every Wednesday, from 2:00 to 3:20 pm both in person and on Zoom.  The full schedule is here.

You can join in person in Smith 234 or Zoom. Meeting ID: 920-8202-6761.

No Topics in Tech the week of the university president’s inauguration. Save the date for these alumni later in the semester:

  • April 13 – Sebastian Bury (Apian Deutschland) – Managing Customer Success at a Startup
  • April 13 – Casey Hult (Protiviti) – Tech and Operational Resilience in Uncertain Times
  • April 20 – Brian Shield (Boston Red Sox CIO) IN PERSON – Tech and Change in Careers
  • April 27 – Mark Maney (Arnica) – How AI and Machine Learning Reshape the Way Companies View Organization

Please join us on line or in person!
