As we start our blog series into Management Development Programs we first will take a look at TJX.
TJX offers many different development programs and internships for its employees. TJX focuses on its Global Leadership Curriculum which offers a consistent development experience focused around our leadership and cultural competencies. With core and elective courses, this curriculum helps Associates gain skills in communications, change management, strategic planning, and more. TJX has different programs for different levels of development so their employees are always bettering themselves in their own way. This development program is great for those seniors majoring in management or professional sales to gain experience and knowledge to build yourself in your career while also being given an opportunity to work at a TJX. In 2020 TJX was able to fill 64% of its managerial positions in stores and field offices with internal promotions.
It is important to note that TJX has reviewed and updated the courses in 2020 to further align its leadership courses with inclusion and diversity efforts. So all are welcome with open arms.
