Are you interested in a career in sustainability? Are you looking to expand your network or learn about sustainable business initiatives? Green Money Journal is a great resource that compiles news stories and article in many areas of sustainable business such as Impact Investing and Energy & Climate topics. They also accumulate and post a Global Events Calendar that features over 60 sustainability events scheduled through November 2019.
You may be thinking- ‘this is great, but how can I afford to go to any of these events as a student?’ Lucky for you, Bentley University students have the opportunity to apply for the Delongchamp Family Fund! This is was established in 2015 to support undergraduate professional and co-curricular activities associated with studying sustainability and the triple-bottom line: people, planet, and profit. The fund was designed to allow students to explore opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach due to funding issues. These include:
Attending a conference,
Going to a networking event,
Taking an unpaid or a limited paid internship,
Pursuing a research project, or
Creating a public awareness campaign around sustainability.
This is a fantastic opportunity to attend some great informative programs while networking with professionals in the space of sustainable business- so don’t miss your chance!
