If you are considering working in public relations, we have some meaningful career advice for you, courtesy of our Take Flight with PR Contest judges.
This year’s contest once again features an illustrious group of judges, all leaders in the public relations field. We recently asked them to provide students and potential contest participants with their best piece of career advice. There answers can be found at the bottom of the Council’s homepage.
The Contest: We hope you have shared information about our Take Flight video contest with your students. If not, there is still plenty of time for students to participate; we will be accepting submissions through June 16th.
This contest will once again offer college students a great platform from which to demonstrate their creativity to PR firm leaders across the country…and one lucky winner will walk away with a potential career-launching prize.

We will be searching for the video that most creatively answers the prompt:
“What is your dream PR assignment? Tell us in a short video of no longer than three minutes. You may, for example, decide to showcase an important social cause, or a favorite restaurant, a brand or musical band. Be creative… and tell us how you would make your story take flight!”
