Position Summary: Marketing Specialist, Corporate Accounts

How will you make an impact?

The Corporate Accounts Marketing Specialist role offers the benefits of a total company perspective, and includes interactions with stakeholders from across the company – providing an opportunity for expanding your company network. The role is focused on supporting the commercial team which has relationship responsibility for the company’s most strategic customers. She/he will be responsible for helping to manage critical business processes, including executive briefings, team document repositories and partnership health surveys.

The position offers a truly unique opportunity to become familiar with Thermo Fisher divisions and businesses as well as the company’s full suite of products and capabilities, as well as commercial and functional leaders from the total company.

Remotely based in any major US city with East Coast preferred.

What will you do?

  • Manage the executive briefing process, to include:
  • Documentation and tracking using Trello, and the Executive Engagement Planning dashboard, meeting all critical milestones and deadlines
  • Coordination and synthesis of data obtained from multiple sources into the briefing documents
  • Creation of briefing books for multi-customer events
  • Maintain key information platforms supporting commercial teams
  • Maintain and update Corporate Accounts iConnect (sharepoint) sites, with focus on: 1) exclusive CA team site, 2) company-facing site
  • Create and maintain content (review and refresh announcements and documents)
  • Catalog and post content
  • Disseminate marketing team communications to the CA team
  • Manage site permissions / access
  • Track usage metrics
  • Maintain and update SalesHub portal for customer-facing collateral
  • Create, maintain and tag content (review and refresh announcements and documents)
  • Catalog and post content
  • Disseminate marketing team communications to the CA team
  • Manage site permissions / access
  • Track usage metrics
  • Participate in related vendor meetings
  • Support the execution of the quarterly Partnership Health and Performance Survey
  • Gather participant demographic information from commercial colleagues
  • Clean/organize data for survey launch
  • Support data analysis and KPI reporting
  • Support key marketing deliverables
  • Participate as team member in projects related to Marketing
  • Catalog press release and other relevant information for quarterly corporate update database.
  • Participate in divisional marketing engagement activities (e.g. data collection for line cards, divisional marketing collateral, significant product launches)

How will you get here?

  • Mandatory BA/BS with major/minor in sciences/business preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience, with marketing and/or sales support, or project management preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, customer orientation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking experience, flexibility, and understanding of business impact to address immediate priorities and still manage deadlines with longer-term projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Negotiation skills – ability to influence disparate parties and come to agreement.
  • Ability to work across disciplines and in a multi-cultural, team-based environment and able to influence others in a matrix environment.
