The Governor’s Internship Program seeks to create a space in which engaged young people can have an empowering experience and discover what they are each capable of while contributing to something greater than themselves.
As an intern in any of the Governor’s Offices, you will gain insight into the various paths within public service and learn valuable skills that will prepare you for your future career, all while seizing a unique opportunity to give back to the Commonwealth.
We offer part-time internships during the fall and spring academic semesters, as well as the summer break. Our positions are unpaid and housing is the responsibility of the intern. Currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and associate degree college students are eligible to apply. A personal interview may be required as the selection process advances.
Before applying, we encourage you to review the office descriptions and candidate criteria. Although we cannot guarantee placement in a specific office, applicants are encouraged to indicate their preferences, as this will help us get to know their interests and find a strong fit.
