Sales & Trading Summer Internship Position:
INTL FCStone Financial Inc. has several front-office Sales and Trading internships available in our 10-week Summer Internship program. Interns participate in a similar, but abbreviated program offered to full-time Sales and Trading Associates.
INTL FCStone Financial Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of INTL FCStone Inc., transacts in U.S. Treasuries, Federal Agency, Corporate, Asset Backed Securities and Mortgage Backed Securities. The Company serves an institutional client base consisting of asset managers, commercial bank portfolios, trust and investment departments, broker-dealers, municipalities, credit unions, corporations, pension funds, government entities and insurance companies.
Our Summer Internship Program is designed to empower our interns to make meaningful contributions throughout the summer. Interns will work directly with Sales & Trading professionals to develop an understanding of the firm’s fixed-income products, institutional customer base, and markets. The program will also expose interns to proprietary and external trading platforms.
An intern who excels throughout his or her internship will be considered for full-time employment upon graduation, and where possible, a continued internship in the fall and spring semesters.
Sales and Trading interns are expected to work hours established by industry trading standards, typically between 7am – 5pm.

To be eligible for the summer internship, an applicant should be in his or her junior year of college with an expected graduation in 2021 or sooner.
Candidates for the program must possess a strong, ongoing interest in the financial markets with emphasis on a dealer’s front-office Sales and Trading environment.
Prospective applicants’ backgrounds should demonstrate coursework in one or more of the following curriculums: engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, or marketing.
Applicants should also demonstrate a desire and ability to work in a team environment while still excelling as an individual. A working knowledge of Excel and some exposure to Bloomberg functionalities will be considered a plus. Past internships and work experience will be noted and considered.
