Bentley University’s “Globetrotters” are competing in the 2014 KPMG International Case Competition (KICC). The first round of the competition was held at Bentley University on November 4th, where 8 teams competed and The Globetrotters took 1st place! The Globetrotters are moving on to the semi-finals. There will be 5 semi-final competitions taking place simultaneously on January 16th &17th across the country in selected regions . A joint Bentley University and Northeastern University team won the first annual commodity track in the Student Cluster Competition at SC 13 in Denver, Colorado last week. The winning Bentley/Northeastern student-designed cluster computer was assembled for less than $2,500 and consumed less than 15 Amps of current (less than your home washing machine).
