MarComm/Media is a career community focused on the fundamental, specialized and complex skills and techniques needed to successfully market an organization’s objectives to their customers and clients. This community will provide students exposure to functional areas such as sports and entertainment media/marketing, public relations, user interface design, advertising, event planning, market research, product marketing, social and new media, and the crafting of managerial and corporate messaging. The MarComm/Media community will provide opportunities for students to learn from and interact with local and national companies from various industries and dynamic agencies to navigate a successful career path in these disciplines.
