MarComm / Media

MarComm/Media is a career community focused on the fundamental, specialized and complex skills and techniques needed to successfully market an organization’s objectives to their customers and clients. This community will provide students exposure to functional areas such as sports and entertainment media/marketing, public relations, user interface design, advertising, event planning, market research, product marketing, social and new media, and the crafting of managerial and corporate messaging. The MarComm/Media community will provide opportunities for students to learn from and interact with local and national companies from various industries and dynamic agencies to navigate a successful career path in these disciplines.

How to Give Better Feedback

Giving and receiving feedback is incredibly important for professional and personal growth. It also helps ensure all team members are on the same page and can significantly improve project quality and outcomes. But giving good, actionable feedback often isn’t something we’re taught. Here’s some tips to help you provide better feedback the next time someone asks.
