A joint Bentley University and Northeastern University team won the first annual commodity track in the Student Cluster Competition at SC 13 in Denver, Colorado last week. The winning Bentley/Northeastern student-designed cluster computer was assembled for less than $2,500 and consumed less than 15 Amps of current (less than your home washing machine).
