Program Overview
The Modeling the Future Challenge (MTFC) is an academic competition from The Actuarial Foundation, managed by the Institute of Competition Sciences, in which high school students analyze data, create models of future change, characterize risks, and make recommendations on how organizations should best adapt those risks. Gamma Iota Sigma is pleased to present Allies in Insurance: Industry Diversity Fair & Connection Point, a virtual career fair empowering students of all backgrounds for successful careers across the risk management, actuarial science, and insurance fields. The event will take place October 21 from 11:00am – 2:30pm EST. Specifically, the Career Fair portion will take place from 11:30am – 1:00pm EST, with interviews following that time.

This event will showcase actuarial female talent at Travelers through job shadows, executive speakers, and a panel discussion. Students will have the opportunity to learn about both traditional and non-traditional P&C actuarial work and network with actuaries at Travelers. While the day is focused on women at Travelers, the event is open to all students.
