Julia Brockney

My name is Julia Brockney and I’m a rising sophomore from Londonderry, New Hampshire. I am planning on majoring in Marketing and double minoring in Earth, Environment, and Global Sustainability and Finance. I enjoy many aspects of the business world and would like to pair it with an awareness for the environment and sustainability.

At Bentley, I am the Head of Marketing for the Bentley Leadership Society, part of Greek Life as a member of Kappa Delta, and a member of the Emerging Leaders Defined Community. This past semester, I participated in service learning through the Prospect Hill After-school Program where we connected with children living in low income housing in Waltham. This semester, I am going to be working as a Program Manager in Training if state regulations allow!

During the summer of 2020, I ran the social media accounts for a local landscaping company in my town where I learned how to increase engagement, work with various applications such as Canva, and increase public outreach through various social media channels. In addition, I worked as a waitress at a local pub several days a week! I also achieved certifications through google analytics in my free time.

Besides school, extracurricular involvement, and work, I love to take on creative projects, be outdoors, spend time with friends, and go shopping. I also have three cats!

This will be my first year working in the Pulsifer Undergraduate Career Development Center, and I am thrilled for this opportunity to be a part of this amazing team!

Networking Tips for International Students

Networking Tips for International Students thumbnail image
