CareerEdge Student Director

Hi, my name is Bella, and I am a rising senior studying Marketing!  I transferred to Bentley from the University of Maine after freshman year, and I absolutely love it here.  After transferring, I wanted to help others, so I joined the team at Undergraduate Academic Advising to be a Transfer Seminar Peer Facilitator where I work with incoming transfer students to make the social and academic transition easier in any way that I can.  Additionally on campus, I play rugby for the Bentley Women’s Club Rugby Team.  In past semesters, I have been an analyst for the Energy Sector for the Bentley Investment group and a fellow through the Center of Women in Business.

When I am not studying, I like to hang out with friends or read.  I love being outside and going to the beach in the summer.

Over the spring 2018 semester, I interned at Blue Phoenix Creative, a digital marketing agency.  I really enjoyed reinforcing my classroom skills with hands on experience.  I was able to explore the areas on search engine optimization and social media marketing.   I think internships are a great way to learn because you can gain real world experience before starting a career and try out different industries and areas of your field.

Suring summer 2018, I was an intern at The Hype! Agency.  The agency focuses on experiential marketing.  I am really interested in this area of marketing!  During my time at Hype!, I manages the social media campaigns, interviews perspective brand ambassadors for high profile campaigns, and facilitated an internal motivational program.  I had a wonderful experience during my summer with the team!

I am very excited to be the Student Director this year.  Last year, I enjoyed my role in the office, being an advising Colleague, as well as working with the Event Planning and CareerEdge teams.  Although I loved teaching CDI and working with students on application materials, I look forward to managing the CareerEdge and Social Media teams this year.
