| Apply now for a summer 2026 WSIA internship The WSIA Internship Program awards nine-week paid summer internships to undergraduate college students interested in an insurance career. APPLY HERE All interns receive: – $22 per hour + $500 cash advance – Fully-covered housing and paid travel – Mentoring throughout the program from an industry leader – A $5,000 scholarship Choose the track that’s right for you: E&S IMMERSION INTERNSHIP | (25 positions open) For students with RMI coursework or work experience in risk management or insurance. Gain hands-on experience in surplus lines by working with real risks, at both an underwriting and brokerage firm, and gaining exposure to areas like claims, analytics and operations. E&S EXPLORATION INTERNSHIP | (15 positions open) For students without background or experience in risk management and insurance; open to students in any major with no RMI experience required. Gain hands-on experience in underwriting or brokerage while learning from industry leaders across multiple departments. 2026 WSIA Internship Program Information Sessions Students interested in applying for the 2026 WSIA Internship Program are invited to join one of two 30-minute virtual information sessions to learn more details about the program. After hearing an overview of the overall experience, benefits, selection, and training, former interns will share their personal experiences. There will be time at the end for some questions and answers. This will be recorded for students to watch later if needed.
