Career Fair is just one week away, so now is the time to start thinking of your plan of attack. First on the list of priorities is composing a compelling elevator pitch to easily let the recruiters get a first glimpse at who you are and what you are trying to learn. Once you are ready with your pitch, be sure to check out handshake to view the employers who plan to be in attendance and familiarize yourself with the opportunities they have posted. See a company of interest that doesn’t seem to have opportunities in your area of interest? That’s ok. You can make a connection to the recruiter at the fair, and ask whom might be the best contact for your specialty.
