3rd Annual Salvatore J. Stile (’92) Professional Sales Competition at Bentley University. Open to all undergraduate students from Bentley U.
The 3rd annual Salvatore J. Stile Sales Competition hosted by Bentley University will take place on Sunday, April 2, 2023. The competition is open to all Bentley undergraduate students regardless of class standing or major.
Students will compete as individuals in a series of simulated sales role plays. There is also an optional team-based component for the competition.

Time: 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Location: Lacava 305 & 325
Student Awards
Cash Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
1st Place Overall: $1,500
2nd Place Overall: $ 1,000
3rd place Overall: $ 750
Honorable Mention each round of the competition (3 prizes in total): $250
There will be additional cash prizes for students competing as a team. NOTE: Teams are comprised of a pair of student competitors.
Competition Format
The main competition will have two rounds:
Round #1: Qualification and Discovery: Face-to-face meeting to gauge interest in new product or service, handle initial objections, uncover needs, and set an appointment for a proposal presentation.
Round #2: Closing: Face-to-face meeting to review a proposed solution, handle objections and close the sale.
The event also includes:
- Networking events and career conversations with employers.
- Live and recorded training sessions available prior to the competition.
