Apply to the KPMG Tax Scholarship Program

KPMG designed the KPMG Tax Scholarship Program to help the next generation of talent by providing financial support to students who identify as members of a traditionally underrepresented racial/ethnic minority group(s) within the professional services industry.

Program Overview

Scholarships: Scholarship amounts vary and are based upon tuition cost at the university of attendance (up to $40,000)—allowing ultimate flexibility on where a student can pursue their master’s degree! A future full-time acceptance with KPMG Tax is required prior to funds being disbursed. Following full time starts, recipients are required to work with KPMG Tax for a period based on the amount of their scholarship.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants who identify as a member of either traditionally underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups within the professional services industry (Black or African‑American, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, or two or more races), are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Must be pursuing a master’s degree in Accountancy (with a focus in Taxation preferred) during the academic calendar year beginning Summer or Fall 2023
  • GPA of 3.0 or above required
  • Must not require Visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • To be considered for this spring’s application cycle, selected scholarship recipients must ultimately receive and accept an offer to join KPMG Tax to begin fulltime work no later than Fall 2024 through our separate employment application process

Applications: Eligible students can apply for the scholarship here, which will run alongside KPMG online employment applications at www.kpmguscareers.com.

Applications will be open on a rolling basis. Candidates are considered as they apply, until all scholarship funding has been awarded. As such, candidates are encouraged to apply expeditiously and do not have to know their final school plans for Fall 2023 to apply. Applicants will be provided an update and/or their selection status from a member of our University Talent Acquisition Team no later than four weeks following submission of the application.
