More often than not, when I ask students if or how they are using LinkedIn, I typically get an indifferent toned response. Some students will share they live on LinkedIn, but that is rare. Additionally, there are students who will share they check it 1-2 times a week. But a heavy majority tell me they don’t use it, or they do not know how to use it. Regardless of how often you use LinkedIn and all of the platform’s tools, I encourage you to read this article. The article is titled the Power of LinkedIn Stalking. The author Hannah Gromen offers a simple and comprehensive list of how to make connections by utilizing various features on LinkedIn. This is well worth the read for tips on how to grow your network.
