It’s a new year and time to become familiar with the many resources on the CareerEdge website as well as on Handshake! To make sure that every Falcon feels supported throughout the job search, we are here for you, from start-to-finish! One of the most exciting features is the Affinity/Identity resource on the CareerEdge website. The Affinity/Identity portion of the toolbar opens up to nine unique groups that students with a connection to the group can use for resources and support throughout their job search and beyond. The Career Development Center is always looking for ways to be more inclusive, so there is always room for additions and changes to the current categories (shown below).
In each specific Affinity/Identity group, there are options to read about news or get career-related advice, find featured jobs, look at career/industry guides, and go to fun events! There’s options to find and Community Partners and find Student Organizations on the right-hand side of the page to enhance your Bentley experience.
Additionally, CareerEdge has more resources for you! If you click Resources, you can filter them by what you are specifically looking for. Have you made a Handshake account? There’s a great DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) resource located in Handshake, just for Bentley students. Just log in, click “Career Center” and then “Resources” to access the many resources we have compiled for you. Specifically, Bentley’s Directory of Employers Committed to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is a must-read. Find it with the instructions discussed above or click here.
