ABF Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Applications Open Now!

Interested in becoming a summer research fellow? Apply for this American Bar Foundation opportunity before February!

“For over 30 years, the ABF has been home to the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship, hosting talented undergraduates from underrepresented backgrounds at our offices in Chicago for eight weeks of intensive research experience and career exploration. Former SURFers have gone on to become law professors, ABF fellows, judges, and more.

The 2021 SURF program will be remote, but we hope to foster the same life-changing environment that previous cohorts have enjoyed. We need your help to find undergraduates suitable for the program and encouraging them to apply. The students should be in their second or third year of college and have US work authorization. Applicants should have some social science research experience, but most importantly they should be intellectually curious and hard-working.”

Remember, the deadline to apply is February 1st! Click here for more information and check out the flyer below by clicking on it to expand and de-pixelate it!
