On Saturday, February 29, 2020, I had the honor and privilege to attend the official chartering ceremony, welcoming the Gamma Rho Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma to Bentley’s campus. Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) is an actuarial business fraternity focused on developing professionals in the risk, insurance and actuarial science space. There were students from GIS chapter’s at UConn, Temple and St. John’s University in attendance as well as a representative from the grand chapter to officially welcome Bentley’s ~40 students into the GIS family. It took a lot of work by the new e-board of the Bentley chapter to make this a reality. I think this is going to be a wonderful opportunity for Bentley and our students. Congratulations once again and thanks for letting me be a part of it!
