Where should you be looking for a job? Good question.
WalletHub released a comprehensive report that compared more than 180 cities across 31 key metrics to identify where the strongest job markets are in this new decade. At unprecedented low unemployment rates and job growth spiking, the macroeconomy hasn’t looked stronger in the past 50 years. This report will give you a better idea of what locations you can consider looking at when in the job search process.
Be sure to stay open-minded and consider the opportunities of your specific industry relative to that city. Some areas are better known for certain industries than others. For instance, Boston is a healthcare hub while Chicago is better known for manufacturing and Austin is known for technology and so forth.
