University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy: Data and Policy Summer Scholar Program

Are you interested in pursuing a career in data analytics and policy research implementation? Are you interested in accelerating your career and academic growth in just four weeks? Then check out this Data and Policy Summer Scholar program offered by the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy!

This program teaches students quantitative data analytical skills, exposes them to a wide range of public policy issues, and prepares them with hands on research project experience. Students will have opportunities to network with UChicago community members, including current graduate students, alumni working in Chicago, staff from admissions and career development offices. Students will hear from well-known practitioners in a variety of public policy fields to understand the application of classroom material in the real world. A few of the highlighted classes within this program include Quantitative Analysis in Public Policy, Introduction to Programming in R, and Writing in Policy.
