Simply said, the summer is not considered a busy hiring season. Recruiting tends to slow down, career and job fairs are at a minimum and new job opportunities are being posted at a slower rate. Now just because company employees might be enjoying the summer months, taking vacation or even reassessing their needs and goals, that does not mean you should also be slowing your preparation for the recruiting season. As a student this is your time to relax and have fun, but also an opportunity to reinvigorate your personal brand. Maybe reset your career planning goals.
