Clif Bar Business with Purpose Scholarship!

Seniors- while you are busy finishing finals and preparing for winter break, check out this exciting scholarship opportunity from Clif Bar!

With the Clif Bar Business with Purpose Scholarship, we hope to inspire and enable tomorrow’s business leaders to become a positive force for change. With a monthly stipend and a contribution toward paying down your student loans, this post-college scholarship is designed to ease your financial expenses following graduation so you can focus on your purpose.

We’re looking for inspiring, passionate, creative college students who are fully committed to making a positive impact through their business career. We’re not asking you to go find your first job, we’re asking you to go find an experience, to do something different with the first year of your post-graduate life, something that drives toward your purpose and can inform your future business career. It could be an internship, a fellowship, a volunteer project, or even a gig at a mission-driven nonprofit – we’re intentionally leaving it open so you can tell us what will be meaningful to you.

Perhaps you’d like to volunteer with a non-profit to better understand the impacts of sustainable agriculture and the value in creating a more sustainable supply chain. Or maybe you’re interested in doing something education focused that you could later use to help inform how the tech industry can better support educators. We know that inspiration can come from many places, so we’re leaving it up to you to identify whatever experience you think will make you a more purposeful business leader.  We can’t wait to hear about your passions and career goals.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a full-time senior graduating spring 2019 from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Have outstanding student loan debt upon graduating.
  • Identify and commit to complete a specific 9-12 month* purpose-driven experience – such as an internship, volunteer project or paid position – that connects to their future career goals in business.  Preference will be given to experiences that tie closely to Clif Aspirations.
  • Be a United States citizen.

*Projects must meet minimum length of 9 months.  Projects longer than 12 months will be considered but stipend will max out at 12 months.

Employees, contractors, interns, and agency representatives, as well as children of employees, contractors, interns and agency representatives of Clif Bar & Company are ineligible.
