Resume and Cover Letter Season is Here! #CareerToolThursday

As the weather gets colder and the leaves start changing, it is time your resume and cover letters start changing as well. Updating or redoing your resume can be daunting, especially when you now have a lot more relevant information, and old information to alter or scrap altogether.

To add to the already tedious and detail-oriented task of resume and cover letter writing, what if you can’t make any of the designated sophomore or career coach drop-in hours? For reference, the drop-in hour schedule is below:

Don’t panic! On BentleyLink, under Resources, there is a great tool called the Virtual Career Center*. Almost every document you would find in the Career Services office is located here for your convenience. Although the Virtual Career Center can’t give you real-time feedback on a resume or cover letter, it can help you get started with a general outline, along with important tips and tricks.
