Valerie Perez – Technology Internal Audit Intern, Boston Office

My name is Valerie Perez and I am a rising Senior. This summer I had the opportunity to intern at Protiviti as part of the Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Technology Solution. Throughout the summer, I provided support and assistance with Sarbanes-Oxley Testing on two projects. Besides having the opportunity to work closely with our clients, I also had the chance to travel and enjoy the office activities. At the beginning of the intern program, I was able to attend The Intern Challenge in Orlando, Florida for 10 days, getting the chance to learn more about Protiviti and what our internship was going to be like this summer. I was able to meet the other 250+ interns across other Protiviti offices in the nation and the highlight of that experience was winning the ‘Tiv award of Most Likely to Become the next Executive Team Member 😊. In addition, during one of my projects I was able to travel to Largo, Florida, where I was able to enjoy the beautiful weather and beach views after a long day of work. Throughout the intern program, our Boston office also had various activities like doing the Duck Tour around Boston, Red Sox Game at Fenway, and friendly Cornhole games on Thursday evenings. By being exposed to various solutions the company can offer to clients and working on different projects, Protiviti allowed me to realize there are many areas to explore and grow in professionally while interning here. It was truly amazing to work at one of the top 100 companies to work for this summer!

Brianna Roy – Business Performance Improvement Intern, New York City Office

My name is Brianna Roy and I’m a Supply Chain and Operations major with minors in Economics and Global Studies. This summer I worked in the Business Performance Improvement Solution at Protiviti out of the New York office.  I had the opportunity to travel to Louisiana to work on an Enterprise Project Management Office Implementation Project.

Outside of work, I got to enjoy a series of fun events throughout my internship including bowling, a guacamole cook-off, an Escape the Room, a Yankees game, and a boat cruise around New York City. Every intern also had the opportunity to participate in the intern day of service, allowing us to experience Protiviti’s commitment to community service. The NY interns were able to partner with Meals on Wheels and deliver meals to those in need. Overall, I had an amazing experience this summer at Protiviti!
