This past January, Career Services held one of it’s most popular events – Success in the City! This quick trip to New York City gave creative engagement students the chance to explore different companies and career opportunities available in their field of study. Through touring the facilities of each company and talking with top management, the experience really provided that extra insight that isn’t usually available to most students.
Sara Zlickzewski reflects on her time at Success in the City saying:
“It was a really cool learning experience that opened up my eyes to the marketing field. As a marketing major at Bentley, we don’t get as many opportunities as accounting and finance majors so it was awesome to go on a trip with people who share similar interests! My favorite part was definitely visiting L’Oréal. The view was amazing and the culture of the company is something that I know I want to work for in the future. My advice to future attendees is be prepared you never know when you can take down someone’s LinkedIn username or share your resume!”
