Dress for Success #CareerToolThursday

First impressions are incredibly important and a key component to that first impression is how you present yourself! Once you’ve secured your interview or decided to attend a networking event, an important piece of your prep work is figuring out what to wear. While it’s a given that you should wear business professional clothing for an interview, sometimes it’s unclear what is expected at networking events. Additionally, sometimes it’s hard to figure out what qualifies as business professional and what qualifies as business casual. Luckily we have created a Dress for Success Guide* to help you with your outfit planning!

This guide includes:

  • A distinction between what is business causal attire and what is business professional attire.
  • Outfit examples for each classification of business attire.
  • Attire and grooming tips regarding things such as color choices, hairstyles, and more!

And remember, the general rule of thumb is, it’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed!
