Last week, Susan Brennan, Associate Vice President for University Career Services, had her article The Differentiating Power of Employer Relationships: What It Takes to Develop Strong Partnerships published on The EvoLLLution. The EvoLLLution interviewed Susan asking a series of questions relating to employer relationships. Susan shared that career services divisions can play the role of bridge between academic divisions, employers and students, ensuring program relevancy and strong relations between institutions and major employers. Additionally, to truly ensure institutional relevance, however, employer relations must be a shared responsibility and a common interest, rather than the domain of a single department or team. Thanks to Susan for sharing her insight and to The EvoLLLution for publishing the interview.
