Bentley Alumni Connecting Across the Country!

??????????

For my first blog post of 2015, I am excited to share highlights from my January travels. Did you know that Falcons were connecting all over the country during the winter break? Thanks to our Regional chapters run by local volunteers and supported by the Global Alumni Board and the Center for Alumni, Parents & Friends, 10 gatherings took place in key regions across the U.S. I was fortunate to be able to get to the Hartford event hosted by UTC on January 7th. What a treat to see many of our 2014 graduates thriving in the UTC Financial Leadership Program. The following week I travelled west to Silicon Valley for an amazing gathering at Google/YouTube, thanks to our host, Alissa Rogers. What a cool company and campus! I also made it to Seattle (sorry Seahawks!), where alumnus Paul Coccovillo hosted a wonderful reception at Microsoft headquarters. One of my favorite stops was at Amazon thanks to Bentley alumna Serena Hernandez, who introduced me to their campus recruiting team. Check out the new Amazon postings on Featured Jobs today!
Did you know that the Bentley community also came together in Maryland, Maine, NH, NYC, LA, Denver, and Miami. Falcons are helping Falcons across the map for advice, internships, and meaningful connections. Didn’t make it to these events? Dreaming of working by the palm trees? Connect with alumni in any of these regions through the new CareerEdge LinkedIn feature. Fellow Falcons are happy to share their experiences.

Stay tuned for more regional updates in next week’s post and check out some of the amazing pictures from our adventure here: http://universityadvancement.bentley.edu/student-alumni-events/
