Road Trips to the Real World from January 5-16, 2015!


WHERE WILL YOU BE DURING JANUARY BREAK? If you will be in the eastern region, from Maine down through Virginia, take advantage of the Road Trips to the Real World program, a series of employer site visits from January 5 – 16, 2015. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door, literally, of participating employers… but space is limited so sign up right away. For some sites, spots fill up VERY quickly, so act now.  The registration deadline has been extended to December 12th, 2014, at

At each site, you will get an in-depth look at how the business operates and see firsthand the potential jobs that are available. You will also network with employees and get a head start on your career choice. This is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

WHO:          Students who are interested in exploring career field opportunities. Open to any student attending a college or university that is a member of the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE)

WHAT:        An opportunity for students to learn first-hand about a career field, network with employees and explore internship and job opportunities.

WHERE:      From Maine to Virginia and points in between (Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, Portland, and Washington, DC, just to name a few).

WHEN:       Registration is open from November 1 – December 12, but sign up early as space is limited. Site visits take place from January 5 – 16, 2015. View the schedule and register at (Select Signature Programs from the menu bar, then click Road Trips Program)

WHY:          It will help you to think about life after college and the career paths that are available. After all, it is never too early to start thinking about your career!

The Road Trips cost $10.00 per site. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the site, and are responsible for any incidental expense they may incur.   Please note these visits are open to schools that are EACE members only.
